Sausage Muffins with Bisquick

Ingredients
For this recipe, you will need:

Muffin Base:
2 cups Bisquick mix
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Sausage Filling:
1 lb (450 g) breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon paprika (optional for a little kick)
Optional Toppings:
Extra shredded cheese
Chopped green onions
A drizzle of hot sauce

Step-by-Step Method
Step 1: Preheat and Prepare Muffin Pan
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with butter or cooking spray, or line with muffin liners to prevent sticking.
Step 2: Cook the Sausage
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Add the breakfast sausage, breaking it up into small crumbles with a spatula.
Season with black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Cook until the sausage is fully browned and no pink remains, about 7–8 minutes.
Drain excess fat on a paper towel and set aside.
