Sausage Muffins with Bisquick

Step 3: Prepare the Bisquick Muffin Batter
In a large mixing bowl, combine Bisquick, milk, and eggs.
Stir until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
Fold in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. This adds a creamy, cheesy flavor to your muffins.
Step 4: Assemble the Sausage Muffins
Spoon a layer of batter into each muffin cup, filling about ⅓ full.
Add a spoonful of cooked sausage into the center of each muffin cup.
Cover the sausage with the remaining batter, leaving a little space at the top to allow muffins to rise.
Optional: sprinkle extra cheese or green onions on top for added flavor and color.
Step 5: Bake
Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until muffins are golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let them cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
These sausage muffins are perfect warm, straight from the oven.
Pair with fresh fruit, a dollop of sour cream, or hot sauce for an extra touch.
They also freeze well, making them a convenient breakfast for the week.
